Seeking God as He Reveals Himself

I often hear preachers speak like the human mind can fully fathom God. In this respect, Scripture reminds us in:

📖 Deuteronomy 29:29 (KJV)
“The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.”

This perspective can intimidate sincere believers, making faith seem mysterious and damn laborious—even after Christ has already unveiled His truth.

📖 2 Corinthians 3:13-16
(Reference to demystified faith through Christ Jesus).

I have resolved to seek God and be satisfied with what He reveals to me. My contentment is in His truth, knowing He has promised to reveal Himself to those who seek Him wholeheartedly. I trust in His Word and prayerfully wait for His manifestations.

📖 Philippians 2:13 (KJV)
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

I no longer desire to be like anyone else or chase dramatic spiritual experiences. This, God’s word demands that I believe:

📖Psalms 139:14-16
¹⁴ I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. ¹⁵ My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. ¹⁶ Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”

I simply trust God, through Jesus Christ, to do exceedingly more than I ask or imagine—according to His will for my life.

Every one of us is uniquely designed for definite divine goals. Your first duty is to find yours!
